These two pieces are prime examples of the celebrated Golden Age of Stereo, sourced from two original RCA 2-track tapes released in the mid-1950s. The sonic quality of these tapes is remarkable, with dynamics that rival those of the Mercury recordings of the same period - in particular, the Song of the Nightingale, a must-listen experience.
