Wild Percussion and Horn's A'Plenty Dick Schory

This release was recorded at the renowned Orchestra Hall in Chicago, a venue with a distinguished history of revered classical recordings. The sound quality of this particular recording is excellent, especially in accurately capturing the hall's acoustics and impressive depth.
Schory's famous title
"Music For Bang, Baaroom, and Harp" was also recorded in the same hall but with the musicians placed closer, resulting in more impact and dynamics both recordings are different in the sound they deliver but both are exceptional and can be termed as reference stereo recordings.
The music featured in both of these titles was released at that time to demonstrate the capabilities of stereo sound to the masses. While the tunes may have a lighthearted vibe, what truly stands out in these two recordings is the impressive expertise and accuracy of the musicians.
