Fine Brahms Requiem; The One to Have?
This is an excellent Brahms Requiem. The interpretation is traditional, and to my ears, that's just fine. Soloists, chorus, and orchestra all clearly love the work. Given the excellent sound in the 24/96 HDTT version here, I'm thinking this might just be the German Requiem to have. Right now it's the only one in my collection.
