Bobby Broom continues to create stellar jazz, whether with Sonny Rollins, or luckily for us, this time on tape with his amazing Chicago trio consisting of Dennis Carroll on bass and Makaya McCraven on drums. This is simply one of the finest guitar trios in jazz. Each member is a vital part of the performance, playing off each other while displaying a gorgeous laid back energy only musicians of this caliber can pull off. Recorded to a custom 8-track analog tape recorder and using only the finest vintage microphones, this is modern, multi-track analog sound at its finest.
